what you all should eat for lunch

because it’s delicious.


1) one small Spinach Wrap Super-dee-Dooper-dee-Booper, Special Deluxe a la Katie T. Hooper. warm a ten-inch spinach wrap in a grill to soften. then pile on romaine, roma tomatoes, olives, red onions, feta cheese, mozzarella, slices of fajita seasoned chicken, and a squiggle of sour cream. wrap snugly and set aside.


2) one sixteen-ounce Orange Sensation smoothie. put a quarter teaspoon each of protein powder, nutrient powder, and vitamin C powder into a blender. add eight ounces of fresh orange juice, a cup of crushed ice, half a cup of blueberries, half a cup of strawberries, and two scoops of pineapple sherbet. blend until silky smooth.


3) eat three bites of spinach wrap per one sip smoothie.


hopefully after you finish, you won’t find yourself in the situation i currently find myself. that is to say, being downtown (a fifteen minute walk from home) during a torrential rainpour when you have neither an umbrella nor a jacket nor even a long sleeved shirt. and even if eating that particular lunch inexplicably destines you to such a fate, it’s still worth it.


p.s. girls’ night out at lidia’s later! amelia, amy, and i are garbing ourselves in our finest and traipsing down to the strip district (of no ill repute, i assure you) for gourmet italian cuisine. can’t wait!!
