remember the healthy wriggly tadpoles i had to squirt pipette-ful by pipette-ful into vials of formaldehyde? my roomie rescued some! half a dozen translucent creatures are gyrating with joy inside a little jar atop her printer as we speak.
but now i must run to supper, cuz quartet rehearsal is at 7 and we’ve got oodles of Christmas music to work on. performing on Light-Up Night — tomorrow — at PPG Place! darling blair loaned me a red shirt as i don’t own anything both dressy and festive. (why do i never wear red? this i asked myself a mere twenty minutes ago. it’s such a vibrant colour.

I wear red all the time. Red is good. But maybe not so much for hair? (And I mean red as in #FF0000 red, not the color typicially referred to when speaking of ‘red hair’.)
